Adaptalift Group is seeking an Internal Sales Lead - Rentals in Springvale to lead and develop our Internal Sales and Rental Sales Coordination team, ensuring quick responses to customer enquiries and converting rental opportunities into orders.

Reporting to the General Manager - Rentals, you will drive quote follow-up, account reactivation and rental revenue growth, working with External Sales, Rental Operations and Branch Managers to hand over orders clearly and accurately.

Qualifications

• Experience leading internal sales, rental sales or customer service teams.
• Strong sales and customer service skills with coaching ability.
• Ability to create structure, energy and accountability in a fast-moving team.

• Coach the team to ask better questions, understand customer needs and recommend the right rental solution.

About The Role:

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who knows how to create momentum in a busy sales environment.

Reporting to the General Manager - Rentals, the Internal Sales Lead - Rentals will lead and develop our Internal Sales and Rental Sales Coordination team, helping them respond quickly to customer enquiries, qualify needs, follow up quotes and convert more rental opportunities into orders.

You will work closely with External Sales, Rental Operations, Transport, Customer Solutions and Branch Managers to make sure customer opportunities are followed through and converted orders are handed over clearly and accurately.

This role would suit someone from internal sales, rental sales, equipment hire, equipment sales, customer service leadership, call centre sales or another fast-paced customer contact environment where urgency, follow-up and accountability matter.

In an average week in the life of this role, you might:

• Lead and support the Internal Sales and Rental Sales Coordination team to respond to enquiries with urgency and a strong “can do” attitude
• Coach the team to ask better questions, understand customer needs and recommend the right rental solution
• Review call activity, quote activity, won/lost outcomes and lead follow-up to identify coaching opportunities and process improvements

To be successful, you will bring:

• Experience leading, supervising or coaching an internal sales, rental, customer service or sales coordination team
• Strong sales and customer service skills, with the confidence to coach others on questioning, follow-up and closing
• The ability to create structure, energy and accountability across a fast-moving team
• Most importantly, you will bring a sales mindset, strong people leadership and the ability to help a team move from “sending quotes” to actively winning work.
