Job summary

Adecco Australia Group is seeking an energetic Internal Sales & Accounts Receivable Administrator in Newcastle, NSW. The role is casual with ongoing full-time hours and offers an ASAP start with a starting rate from $37 per hour depending on experience.

The position focuses on sales orders, invoicing, receipts processing, and debt collection, within a small, supportive team and with on-the-job training in a manufacturing business in Newcastle.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in accounts processing or accounts receivable.
• Experience using an accounting software system.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate data-entry skills.
• Confidence working independently once training has been completed.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a small office team.
• Experience using Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.
• A basic understanding of GST.

Responsibilities

• Entering and processing sales orders.
• Generating customer invoices.
• Processing incoming receipts.
• Following up and collecting outstanding payments.
• Completing general administration and data-entry duties.
• Providing backup reception coverage during busy periods, lunch breaks and leave.
