Job summary

WT Sports and Recognition Pty Ltd in North Parramatta NSW is seeking an Internal Sales Administrator / Account Manager to manage customer enquiries, quotes, orders and coordinate with production and warehouse teams to ensure accurate, on-time delivery.

You will build strong relationships with sporting clubs, schools and businesses, support our sales reps, and maintain robust ERP records while contributing to continuous process improvements in a long-standing family-owned business.

Qualifications

• Experience in internal sales, account management or customer service.
• Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail.
• Confident written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
• Proactive approach to following up orders and keeping customers informed.
• Experience with CRM or ERP systems is advantageous.

We are looking for a motivated Internal Sales Administrator / Account Manager to join our team, supporting our growing Trophies and Teamwear departments.

The Opportunity

This is a hands-on internal sales and account management role suited to someone who can confidently manage customer enquiries, prepare quotes, process orders and coordinate with internal teams to ensure orders are completed accurately and delivered on time.

You will work closely with our sales representatives, production, artwork and warehouse teams, helping maintain strong customer relationships while ensuring our sales processes and systems are followed consistently.

The role offers the opportunity to develop your product knowledge, take ownership of customer accounts and grow within a busy, evolving business.

Key Responsibilities

Manage customer enquiries by phone and email, providing timely, professional and solutions-focused service.

Build and maintain strong relationships with sporting clubs, schools, businesses and other customers.

Support sales representatives with day-to-day customer requirements and follow-ups.

Prepare quotations, process sales orders and assist with invoicing and payment follow-ups.

Monitor order progress, delivery schedules and outstanding requirements, proactively communicating with customers and internal teams.

Identify opportunities to improve customer service and strengthen existing customer relationships.

Order Management & Administration

Process customer orders accurately, ensuring pricing, quantities, product descriptions, artwork, specifications and delivery requirements are correct.

Maintain accurate customer records, sales orders and supporting documentation within our ERP system.

Follow established approval procedures and ensure orders contain all information required before progressing to production.

Coordinate with trophy and teamwear production, artwork and warehouse teams to resolve queries and keep orders moving.

Monitor outstanding orders and scheduled delivery dates, following up on delays or missing information.

Assist with account administration, reporting and general sales support as required.

Systems & Process Improvement

Maintain accurate information across our business systems and customer records.

Follow documented procedures and contribute to improving workflows and operational efficiency.

Develop strong product knowledge across trophies, awards, custom teamwear and related products.

About You

You are someone who takes ownership, follows through on commitments and understands the importance of accuracy in a busy sales environment.

You will ideally have:

Previous experience in internal sales, account management, sales administration or customer service.

Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail.

Confident written and verbal communication skills.

The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.

A proactive approach to following up orders, resolving issues and keeping customers informed.

Confidence using business software, CRM or ERP systems. Experience with NetSuite or a similar system is advantageous.

The ability to work collaboratively while also managing your own workload independently.

A positive, accountable and solutions-focused attitude.

Experience in sporting goods, teamwear, trophies, awards, retail or manufacturing is an advantage, but a willingness to learn and develop product knowledge is equally important.
