Job summary

Vulcan in Western Australia is seeking an office-based internal sales representative to be the first point of contact for customers, selling engineering steel, stainless and aluminium products. You will work with internal teams and external partners to ensure accurate quotes and timely order processing.

This role suits someone with customer service or sales experience, able to work Monday to Friday 8am-4pm on site, with good attention to detail and solid computer skills.

Qualifications

• On-site Monday to Friday 8am-4pm.
• Previous customer service and sales experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail.
• Intermediate computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Responding to inbound enquiries via phone and email in a timely and professional manner.
• Processing customer orders and preparing accurate quotes.
• Proactively following up with customers to ensure satisfaction and gather feedback.
• Collaborating with the sales team to support business development and identify opportunities.
• Building and maintaining strong customer relationships.
• Assisting with stock management and inventory control.
• Handling general administrative tasks as needed.
