Job summary

Vulcan, Australasia's leading metals distributor and processor, is seeking an office-based internal sales professional in Western Australia. You will be the first point of contact for customers and will sell engineering steel, stainless, and aluminium products while collaborating with internal teams.

In this role you will respond to inbound enquiries, process orders and quotes, follow up with customers, support business development, and help with stock management.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service and sales experience preferred but not essential.
• Proven ability to work both independently and in a team.
• Strong attention to detail and intermediate computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Respond to inbound enquiries by phone and email promptly.
• Process customer orders and prepare accurate quotes.
• Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and collect feedback.
• Collaborate with the sales team to support business development.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Assist with stock management and inventory control.
