Job summary

Vulcan in Ipswich, Queensland is seeking a customer service and sales support professional to handle both phone and face-to-face inquiries, prepare quotes and orders, and deliver solutions for customers.

The role also supports warehouse operations, with data entry for manifests, receipts, and cycle counts. On-the-job training and a supportive culture are offered; a pre-employment drug screen is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service and sales is preferred but not essential.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail in handling inquiries and data entry.
• Intermediate computer skills.

What you will be responsible for:

• Processing general phone and face to face sales enquiries
• Preparing sales quotes and orders
• Providing suitable solutions to our existing and potential customers
• Delivering excellent customer service and support through the sales process
• Supporting warehouse operations, including manifests, goods receipting, entering cycle count data and filing

• Previous customer service and sales experience (preferred but not essential)
• Ability to work independently and part of the team
• Attention to detail
• Intermediate computer skills
