Job summary

Vulcan Australasia is seeking a dedicated office-based Customer Service & Sales Support representative in Darwin. You will be the first point of contact for customers, handling inquiries, quotes, and orders while supporting internal teams and external partners.

Role involves proactive outreach, maintaining relationships, and assisting with stock control. On-site work Monday–Friday, 8:00–4:30, with opportunities to contribute to business development in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Customer service and sales experience is beneficial.
• Ability to respond to inquiries via phone and email.
• Experience with stock management is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential.
• On-site role: Monday to Friday 8:00–4:30.

About the role

In this office-based role, you will be the first point of contact for customers, working closely with internal teams and external partners. You’ll be responsible for selling stainless and aluminium products.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Responding to inbound enquiries via phone and email in a timely and professional manner
• Proactive customer outreach through outbound calling
• Processing customer orders and preparing accurate quotes
• Proactively following up with customers to ensure satisfaction and gather feedback
• Collaborating with the sales team to support business development and identify opportunities
• Building and maintaining strong customer relationships
• Assisting with stock management and inventory control
• Handling general administrative tasks as needed

• On-site Monday to Friday 8.00am-4.30pm
• Knowledge/ experience with in the Metal industry an advantage
• Previous customer service and sales experience (preferred but not essential)
• Ability to work independently and part of the team
• Attention to detail
• Intermediate computer skills
