Qualifications

• Bachelor in Community Services/Welfare or related discipline.
• Minimum two years’ casework experience, able to work independently.
• Understanding of case management/assessment approaches and frameworks.
• Experience working with CALD clients.

Responsibilities

• Assess eligibility and needs of asylum seekers applying for SRSS.
• Complete holistic intake assessments and Department of Home Affairs applications.
• Provide initial case management support and planning for approved applicants.
• Act as Independent Observer for unaccompanied minors when required.
