Job summary

Gallagher is seeking an Internal Account Executive to support our broking team in Queensland. You will help Account Executives and Brokers manage client portfolios and handle insurance administration, claims support, renewals, quoting, and insurer liaison.

Ideal candidates are highly organized, enjoy a fast-paced environment, and have a customer-focused mindset. Insurance experience is beneficial, and a Tier 1 Broking qualification is desirable.

Qualifications

• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Customer-focused with strong relationship management skills.
• Previous experience in insurance is beneficial but not essential.
• Tier 1 Insurance Broking qualification (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Assist Brokers and Account Executives with the ongoing management of client portfolios.
• Support Brokers throughout the claims process by coordinating claim lodgements, following up claim progress, and liaising with our dedicated claims team.
• Prepare renewal documentation and complete pre-renewal reviews.
• Obtain and compare quotations from insurers.
• Assist with policy remarketing activities and insurer submissions.
• Prepare insurance documentation, schedules, certificates and correspondence.
• Maintain accurate client records and electronic files.
• Provide timely and professional service to clients
