Job summary

Gallagher is seeking an Internal Account Executive in Australia to support and service a portfolio of commercial and corporate insurance clients. You will work closely with experienced brokers and Account Executives to develop technical insurance knowledge and service excellence.

Your role focuses on client retention, growth opportunities, and delivering high-quality communications with insurers and clients, while maintaining compliant account administration and accurate records.

Qualifications

• Experience within insurance, financial services or a client-facing environment.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent organisational and time management capabilities.
• Attention to detail and commitment to service excellence.
• A proactive approach and willingness to learn.
• Tier 1 Insurance qualification (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Manage and support an existing portfolio of commercial insurance clients
• Assist with policy renewals, endorsements and general account administration
• Build strong relationships with clients, insurers and internal stakeholders
• Identify cross-selling and growth opportunities within the portfolio
• Prepare quotations, policy documentation and client communications
• Support credit management and maintain accurate client records
• Ensure compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements
• Deliver exceptional client service at every interaction
