Albanvale Primary School is seeking a Learning Specialist who will spend most of their time in the classroom while modelling high-quality teaching and learning. The role includes teaching demonstration lessons, observing teachers and providing feedback, and leading school-based professional learning.

The Learning Specialist will work with the leadership team to promote excellence in teaching, learning, achievement, engagement and wellbeing through data-informed practices and collaborative

Formación

• Provisional or full registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching.
• Experience in delivering high-quality teaching and learning.
• Ability to mentor and coach teachers and lead professional learning.

Responsabilidades

• Demonstrate high-level expertise in teaching and learning practice.
• Model exemplary classroom practice including demonstration lessons.
• Lead professional learning and observation/feedback processes.
• Support school improvement strategies and data-informed teaching.
• Mentor and coach teachers and supervise student teachers.
• Model use of student data to inform teaching.
• Develop school-wide professional learning structures.
