Job summary

Wangaratta District Specialist School is seeking Learning Specialists who will spend the majority of time in classrooms delivering high-quality teaching. The role includes teaching demonstration lessons, observing and giving feedback to teachers, and facilitating school-based professional learning.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated expert knowledge of Curriculum and effective teaching.
• Ability to model high-impact teaching strategies across literacy and numeracy.
• Experience supporting teachers to evaluate learning impact using data.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate high-level teaching practices in classrooms.
• Lead and model professional learning for staff.
