Job summary

Wabtec Corporation in Sydney, Australia, is seeking a Technical Sales Specialist to drive inside sales for industrial equipment. You will manage the Video Scope portfolio, provide technical and sales support, and collaborate with field sales and key accounts to achieve growth targets.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering, experience with technical instruments, and proficiency with CRM and sales tools. Occasional travel and dynamic campaigns are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, or equivalent required.
• Experience with technical instruments and application software preferred.
• Knowledge of NDT/RVI/ANI or related industries is a plus.
• Proven history of success in a business-to-business environment.
• Ability to deliver persuasive presentations, product demos, and emails to diverse audiences.
• Experience using CRM, sales automation, and sales enablement tools.

Responsibilities

• Proactively manage the Video Scope portfolio, including price lists, stock levels, service and spare parts overview.
• Provide technical support to the Australian Sales Team; travel for key account visits may be required.
• Offer quotation and sales support to defined customer base; assist outside sales team.
• Contact and qualify customers via phone, internet, and other channels.
• Perform virtual product demonstrations to customers.
• Close sales to achieve annual targets for the inside sales channel.
• Train and maintain high-level product knowledge for RVI.
• Manage relationships with assigned accounts and territories.
