Job summary

Chandler Macleod Group in Dandenong South seeks a commercially minded Internal Sales & Account Management professional to join our plant and equipment hire business.

This 100% office-based role focuses on maintaining client relationships, generating dry hire opportunities, and managing inbound enquiries using HubSpot CRM. You’ll support quotes, re-engage dormant clients, and identify new business opportunities in civil and construction sectors.

Qualifications

• Experience in plant and equipment hire, earthmoving, civil construction or related industries.
• Strong internal sales, hire or client-relations experience.

Responsibilities

• Proactively contact existing, previous and prospective clients to generate hire opportunities.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients across civil and construction sectors.
• Re-engage dormant clients and identify upcoming projects or equipment requirements.
• Manage inbound hire enquiries via phone and email.
• Prepare quotes and proactively follow up outstanding opportunities.
• Identify and approach prospective clients where appropriate.
• Promote available equipment to maximise fleet utilisation.
• Maintain accurate client and sales activity within HubSpot CRM.
• Assist with incoming calls and general client enquiries across the office when required.
• Conduct phone and Microsoft Teams meetings, with occasional site visits where beneficial.
• Work closely with the wider team to maintain client engagement and sales momentum.
