Job summary

Chandler Macleod is seeking a commercially minded Internal Sales & Account Management professional to join our Dandenong South team. This hands-on, phone-based role focuses on maintaining strong client relationships and generating dry hire opportunities across civil and construction industries.

You will manage inbound enquiries, prepare quotes, re-engage dormant clients and drive new business from existing relationships.

Qualifications

• Proactive outbound calling to generate hire opportunities.
• Strong client relationship development and maintenance.
• Commercial mindset to identify sales opportunities.
• Ability to work autonomously in a small office.
• Experience in plant/equipment hire or related industries preferred.

Responsibilities

• Proactively contact existing, previous and prospective clients to generate hire opportunities.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients across civil and construction sectors.
• Re-engage dormant clients and identify upcoming projects or equipment requirements.
• Manage inbound hire enquiries via phone and email.
• Prepare quotes and follow up outstanding opportunities.
• Identify and approach prospective clients where appropriate.
• Promote available equipment to maximise fleet utilisation.
• Maintain accurate client and sales activity within HubSpot CRM.
• Assist with incoming calls and general client enquiries across the office.
• Conduct phone and Teams meetings, with occasional site visits when beneficial.
