Canterbury Girls¿ Secondary College in Victoria is seeking a classroom teacher for Range 1 or Range 2 classifications. The role focuses on planning, preparation and teaching to achieve student outcomes, with opportunities to contribute to school priorities and policies.

Collaborative colleagues will support literacy and numeracy initiatives, mentor student teachers and use data to inform teaching practice. Strong commitment to department values and whole‑school professional learning is essential.

Formación

• Demonstrated expert knowledge of the relevant curriculum.
• Ability to lead and manage the implementation of school priorities.
• Ability to lead planning and implementation of high impact teaching strategies.
• Ability to monitor and assess student learning using data to inform teaching practice.
• Demonstrated ability to model Department values and contribute to whole‑school professional learning.

Responsabilidades

• Direct teaching of groups of students and planning of programs.
• Contribute to development, implementation and evaluation of a curriculum area or program.
• Undertake other classroom teaching related and organisational duties as directed by the Principal.
• Participate in parent/teacher meetings, staff meetings, camps and excursions.
• Undertake other non‑teaching supervisory duties.
