Qualifications

• SC1: Demonstrated knowledge of the relevant curriculum, including the ability to incorporate literacy and numeracy skills.
• SC2: Demonstrated planning for high impact teaching strategies and evaluating learning impact.
• SC3: Demonstrated monitoring/assessing student learning and using data for feedback.
• SC4: Demonstrated interpersonal/communication skills and collaboration with students, parents, colleagues and community.
• SC5: Demonstrated behaviours aligned with Department values and commitment to professional learning.

Responsibilities

• Direct teaching of groups of students and individual students.
• Contribute to development, implementation and evaluation of a curriculum area or program.
• Undertake other classroom teaching related duties as determined by the School Principal.
• Participate in parent/teacher meetings, staff meetings, camps and excursions.
• Undertake other non-teaching supervisory duties.
