Bayside Health, serving 1.2 million people across metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria, invites applications for a Manager, Injury Management. In this fixed-term parental leave cover, you will manage an allocated portfolio from notification through recovery and return to work.

You will provide practical injury management and workers’ compensation advice, collaborate with employees, managers, treating practitioners and WorkSafe, develop return-to-work plans, and maintain confidential

Qualifications

• Experience in injury management, workers’ compensation, rehabilitation or return to work.
• Knowledge of Victorian public health or complex operational environments.
• Ability to coordinate cases with multiple stakeholders and interpret work-capacity information.
• Commitment to accurate records, timely follow-up and confidentiality.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with sound judgement in sensitive matters.

Responsibilities

• Lead injury management for an allocated portfolio from notification through to return to work.
• Provide practical injury management and workers’ compensation advice.
• Collaborate with employees, managers, treating practitioners and WorkSafe agents.
• Develop and review return-to-work plans and identify suitable duties.
• Maintain confidential records and contribute to injury prevention and service improvement.
