Job summary

Australian Retirement Trust is seeking a Return to Work Coordinator in Brisbane/Melbourne to support injury management and return-to-work processes. You will maintain records, coordinate appointments and communications, and help implement improvements across the Injury Management function.

You will work with Injury Management and Return to Work Specialists, insurers, providers and employees, reporting to the Manager - Employee Relations and Safety Operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in an administrative role with systems development and maintenance.
• Experience in Return to Work, Injury Management, Workers' Compensation, HR or WHS desirable.
• Ability to deal sensitively with confidential information.
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Suite skills.
• Strong planning and organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and timeframes.
• Demonstrated high levels of attention to detail and accuracy.
• Exposure to payroll processes related to injury management and return to work activities.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain new injury management and return to work files with accurate documentation.
• Maintain case files, medical certificates, correspondence and rehabilitation reports.
• Coordinate injury management administration activities across the lifecycle of injury cases.
• Conduct welfare checks and follow-up communications with employees and stakeholders.
• Assist with case transitions and file prep for system upgrades and improvements.
• Maintain data records, spreadsheets and tracking for reporting and operations.
• Provide administrative support during peak periods and leave coverage.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives for workplace safety and injury management.
