Job summary

Thiess is seeking an experienced Injury Management Coordinator split between Gruyere Gold Mine and Welshpool Office in WA. You will manage injury cases, coordinate RTW plans, and work with site leaders, insurers, and healthcare providers to achieve early interventions and sustainable return-to-work outcomes.

The role involves site and Perth office duties with a 5:2, 5:2, 4:3 roster. You will drive compliant case management and support HSEQ with injury processes while maintaining strong

Qualifications

• Experience in injury management within mining or heavy industry is preferred.
• Tertiary qualifications in Physiotherapy, OT or Exercise Physiology are required.
• Experience managing workers’ compensation and coordinating medical services.

Responsibilities

• Maintain injury management database with accurate records.
• Review medical assessments and advise HR/site operations on returns to work.
• Develop RTW plans in line with medical guidance and stakeholder input.
• Coordinate treatments, follow-ups and doctor reviews per RTW plans.
• Liaise with insurers for cost mitigation and timely returns to work.
