Northern Star Resources is seeking an experienced Injury Management Coordinator to support KCGM Operations in Kalgoorlie. You will ensure proactive injury management, oversee workers’ compensation processes, and promote health across the production centre.

Reporting to the Health & Safety Superintendent, the role operates on a 5/2: 4/3 9-hour day roster, and is shared across KCGM and Kalgoorlie Operations. A strong background in occupational health and fitness-for-work is essential.

Formación

• Minimum three years occupational health/injury management experience, preferably in the mining industry.
• Knowledge and understanding of Fitness for Work requirements, Ergonomics, Workers Compensation and Occupational Health Rehabilitation Services.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate management of workplace injuries including referred early care and/or workers’ compensation claims by liaising with medical teams, injury management personnel, treating practitioners, external rehabilitation providers and the company insurer.
• Facilitate return to work programs for early care and/or workers’ compensation claims and provide updates on injury status to relevant management.
• Communicate with medical and allied health providers to develop and implement return to work programs and plans for workplace injuries.
• Develop and implement proactive injury management and rehabilitation strategies with internal/external stakeholders to achieve fitness for work outcomes.
• Maintain accurate records/files of injury management activities.
• Provide effective case management strategies for injured workers.
