Are you an early-career IT professional with a passion for infrastructure and technology? An industry-leading energy company is seeking a Support Analyst I to join their growing IT team. This role focuses on Tier 2 monitoring and support across enterprise infrastructure, including Windows, Linux, Citrix, IIS, and Middleware environments. ***Remote work with preference for candidates located near Charlotte, NC for onboarding/training and occasional onsite visits.***

***3rd shift role; 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM ***

Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Rate: $20 - $27 / hr. w2

Key Responsibilities:

Provide proactive and predictive monitoring and issue resolution for servers, storage, software, and batch job flows.
Support enterprise environments including Windows, Linux, Citrix, IIS, and Middleware.
Assist in server reboots, monthly patching, and infrastructure-related support requests.
Participate in cross-functional project teams, major incident response, and disaster recovery exercises.
Promote standard processes and identify opportunities for automation.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field with 1 year of relevant experience
(or High School diploma/GED with 3 years of related experience).
Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Citrix), Microsoft Office tools, and strong written/verbal communication skills.

Preferred Experience:

Storage Area Network (SAN) infrastructure
Ability to analyze and document IT problems and solutions
Remote work with preference for candidates located near Charlotte, NC for onboarding/training.
