Job summary

The Gadigal Centre at the University of Sydney is seeking a Student Success Officer to provide learning guidance and case-management support to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students. You will liaise with students, mentors, and academics, supporting engagement events and cross-department coordination.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander societies and cultures.
• Demonstrated lived experience and engagement in Indigenous communities or with students.
• Computer skills including MS Office and CRM systems.
• Experience in tertiary education is preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide learning guidance, information, advice, and case-management support to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students.
• Facilitate student interaction with peers, mentors and academics.
• Support student engagement events and opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students.
• Liaise with Accommodation, Financial Assistance, Disability Services etc. to ensure services are utilised by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students.
