Job summary

The University of Sydney is seeking a Senior Student Success Officer, Gadigal Centre (Identified) to provide culturally informed, holistic support to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students across their university journey. This full-time role focuses on student engagement, academic progression and coordinating key programs.

You will analyse student data, collaborate with academic leaders and services, and help strengthen services and outcomes.

Qualifications

Knowledge of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and issues.
Experience supporting students, ideally in tertiary education.
Experience managing and analyzing data using Power BI and CRM systems.
Experience data management, analysis and reporting.
Experience coordinating programs and managing multiple priorities.
Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field or equivalent training, with Working with Children Check or willingness to undergo screening.

Responsibilities

Work with students, academic leaders, faculties and professional services teams.
Provide holistic guidance, advocacy and case management to Indigenous students.
Manage and analyse student data to inform programs and decisions.
Coordinate student support programs including ITAS, scholarships and engagement initiatives.
Develop culturally inclusive processes and strengthen referral pathways.
Support Gadigal Centre operations, events, reporting and improvement initiatives.
