Job summary

The University of Sydney invites applications for a Senior Student Success Officer at the Gadigal Centre (Identified). This role focuses on culturally informed, holistic support to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students across their university journey, driving engagement and academic progression.

You will work with diverse teams to analyse student data, coordinate key programs, and strengthen services to improve outcomes.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, communities, and contemporary issues.
• Experience supporting students, preferably in tertiary education.
• Experience managing and analysing data using platforms such as Power BI and CRM systems.
• Experience in data management, analysis and reporting for student programs.
• Experience coordinating programs and managing multiple operational priorities.
• Current Working with Children Check or willingness to undergo screening.

Responsibilities

• Work with students, academic leaders, faculties and professional services to provide holistic guidance, advocacy and case management for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students.
• Manage and analyse student data to inform interventions and decision-making.
• Coordinate programs including ITAS, scholarships and student engagement initiatives.
• Develop culturally inclusive processes and strengthen referral pathways.
• Support Gadigal Centre operations, events, reporting and continuous improvement.
