Job summary

The Senior Student Success Officer, Gadigal Centre at the University of Sydney supports Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students across their university journey, providing culturally informed guidance, coordination of programs, and data-informed insights to improve outcomes.

Qualifications

Demonstrated knowledge of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and issues.
Experience supporting students, preferably in tertiary education.
Experience in data management and reporting with Power BI/CRM.
Experience coordinating programs and managing multiple priorities.
Tertiary qualification or equivalent training with Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

Work with students, academic leaders and service teams to provide holistic support.
Advocate for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students and manage cases.
Analyse student data to inform programs and decision-making.
Coordinate programs including ITAS, scholarships and engagement initiatives.
Develop inclusive processes and strengthen referral pathways.
Support Gadigal Centre operations, events and reporting.
