Job summary

Settlement Services International (SSI Group) is seeking a Refugee and Disability Post Placement Officer based in Liverpool. The role focuses on proactive, hands-on employment support for participants from refugee backgrounds and people with disabilities, ensuring sustainable job retention and strong employer partnerships.

The position involves ongoing workplace support, coordinating with the IEA team, and achieving 4, 12, 26 and 52-week outcomes to drive revenue and client success.

Qualifications

• Completion of, or willingness to enrol in Certificate IV in Employment Services.
• High attention to detail and ability to track documentary evidence.
• Strong customer-centric approach and empathy for job seekers.

Responsibilities

• Support participants from refugee backgrounds and people with disabilities to achieve sustainable employment.
• Maintain regular contact with participants and employers onsite and by phone.
• Facilitate workplace adjustments and access government subsidies as needed.
• Collect and organise documentary evidence to support outcome claims and reporting.
