Job summary

Fisher & Paykel is seeking a Service Technician to join our Queensland team. You’ll diagnose, repair and maintain premium appliances in customers’ homes, delivering exceptional service with a customer-first approach.

You’ll receive comprehensive training and work with experienced technicians, developing skills through structured learning and practical experience, while maintaining high safety and quality standards across jobs.

Qualifications

• Experience in appliance repair, fault-finding and troubleshooting in domestic appliances or related trade.
• Ability to read technical manuals, schematics and wiring diagrams accurately.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills with root-cause analysis.
• Customer-focused approach with professional communication skills.
• Familiarity with MS Office and mobile tech for service records.

Responsibilities

• Deliver in-home service experiences with professionalism and customer focus.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair and test premium appliances to high standards.
• Assess performance and communicate recommendations to customers clearly.
• Maintain van stock to maximise first-time fix rates.
• Complete quotations and service documentation accurately and on time.
• Uphold safety, quality and regulatory standards while learning continually.
