Believe Housing Australia, part of the AnglicareSA family, is seeking a Tenancy Officer to support tenants in community housing and manage the full tenancy lifecycle with a focus on compliance and positive outcomes.

You will oversee data accuracy across tenancy systems, conduct inspections, prepare SACAT applications, and build strong relationships with tenants from diverse backgrounds, providing early intervention for those with complex needs.

Competenze

• Proven experience in tenancy, property or community housing management.
• Strong working knowledge of the Residential Tenancies Act 1995 (SA).
• Strong communication, organisation and conflict resolution skills.
• Confidence working with people facing complex challenges.
• Competence in using tenancy systems and MS Office for accurate record keeping.
• Effective time management skills with strong prioritisation, organisation and multi-talking abilities.

Mansioni

• Supporting the full tenancy lifecycle from sign-up to exit – ensuring compliance with the Residential Tenancies Act 1995 (SA).
• Maintaining accurate data across tenancy and asset management systems and actively contributing to reporting, audits and continuous improvement.
• Conducting routine, entry and final inspections in line with legislative requirements and identifying, reporting and following up on property condition or maintenance issues.
• Preparing and presenting SACAT applications and implementing outcomes
• Building positive, respectful relationships with tenants from diverse backgrounds and providing early intervention to help sustain tenancies, particularly for tenants experiencing complex needs such as mental health challenges, financial hardship, family violence or disability.
