Edge Recruitment is seeking an experienced Tenancy Officer to manage a portfolio of residential properties within the community housing sector in Adelaide. The role focuses on tenancy management, customer service, and stakeholder engagement to achieve positive tenant outcomes.

You will work closely with tenants, support services, and maintenance teams while ensuring compliance with tenancy laws. Immediate start, excellent team environment, and opportunities for development are offered.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in tenancy management or housing services.
• Strong knowledge of the South Australian Residential Tenancies Act.
• Excellent communication, customer service and conflict resolution skills.
• Experience working with diverse and vulnerable communities.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
• High attention to detail and accurate record-keeping.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team.
• Experience using tenancy management software platforms.

Aufgaben

• Manage a tenancy portfolio and day-to-day tenancy operations.
• Coordinate property allocations, sign-ups, transfers and vacant properties.
• Conduct routine, entry and exit inspections.
• Manage rental accounts, rent reviews and payment arrangements.
• Respond to tenancy enquiries with professionalism and empathy.
• Coordinate maintenance requests with contractors and teams.
• Prepare documentation and attend SACAT matters as required.
• Maintain accurate tenancy records and reporting.
• Build relationships with support providers and community organisations.
• Connect tenants with appropriate support services; contribute to community development.
• Support compliance, safety and continuous improvement initiatives.
