Job summary

Supported Care is seeking compassionate staff for a casual role at Caloundra House, Sunshine Coast. You will support residents with varying needs, helping maintain a safe, respectful living environment and assisting with meals, welfare checks, and daily tasks, including medication administration under training.

Sleepover shifts are available with flexible rosters to suit your lifestyle. Training and development opportunities are provided to grow with the team.

Qualifications

• Experience in fast-paced environments is beneficial.
• Mental health or disability support experience is an advantage.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to resident needs.
• Availability for sleepover shifts and casual rosters.
• Current First Aid/CPR certificate and relevant checks.

Responsibilities

• Conduct resident welfare checks and respond to support needs.
• Prepare and organise meals for residents.
• Administer medications per training and procedures.
• Record progress notes and handover information accurately.
• Respond calmly to emergencies following established procedures.
• Assist residents with daily needs and promote independence.
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene and safety throughout the facility.
