Job summary

Otr Group in Alice Springs, NT, is looking for an ICT Customer Support professional to diagnose software and hardware issues and provide effective solutions to end users. You will support users across a range of devices and may work in a call center environment.

The ideal candidate has at least three years of IT support experience, an AQF Associate Degree or Diploma, strong communication, and relevant vendor certifications.

Qualifications

• Three years of relevant IT support experience.
• AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma.
• Experience in telephone-based IT support.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Industry certifications would be highly regarded.
• Ability to resolve issues and provide effective solutions.

Responsibilities

• Determining software and hardware requirements to provide solutions to problems.
• Responding to inquiries about software and hardware problems.
• Adapting existing programs to meet users' requirements.
• Installing and downloading appropriate software.
• Ensuring efficient use of applications and equipment.
• Designing and maintaining websites.
• Repairing and replacing peripheral equipment such as terminals, printers and modems.
• May work in a call centre.
