Job summary

Central Australian Aboriginal Congress Aboriginal Corporation is seeking a Desktop Support Officer to deliver hands-on IT support for staff, guests and stakeholders, including installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of computers, notebooks, desk phones and mobile devices.

This full-time role requires a Certificate IV or current study in IT, readiness to travel to remote locations, a NT driver’s licence, and a passion for service delivery and continuous learning through certifications and

Qualifications

Certificate IV qualification or studying towards in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
Willingness, ability and appropriate levels of health and fitness to travel to and work from remote locations.
Hold a valid NT Driver's licence.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with strong focus on service delivery.
Has long-term interest in the IT industry, enjoys learning about and working with the latest IT products with a willingness to undertake training and obtain relevant certifications

Responsibilities

Provide technical support for staff, guests and other stakeholders using IT products and services.
Assist with network and application access and the delivery, installation and maintenance of computers, notebooks, desk phones and mobile phones.
