Job summary

VeiraMal Consulting is seeking an experienced ICT Support and Test Engineer NEC to join our client’s business Hyrx Pty Ltd in Docklands. You will provide technical support for ICT systems, applications, software, hardware and related infrastructure, and you will plan, develop and execute system testing to verify functionality and performance.

The role requires preparing test plans and documentation, conducting functional, integration & regression testing, identifying defects and coordinating

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an ICT Support and Test Engineer or in a closely related ICT technical role.
• Relevant IT/CS/engineering qualifications or related field.
• Strong knowledge of ICT systems, applications, software, hardware and infrastructure.
• Experience in troubleshooting, diagnosing and resolving ICT system issues.
• Experience in system, application or software testing and defect documentation.
• Familiarity with testing methodologies, planning, execution and QA processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with strong problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for ICT systems, applications, software, hardware and related infrastructure.
• Diagnose, investigate and resolve technical issues, system faults and performance problems.
• Plan, develop and execute system and application testing to verify functionality and reliability.
• Prepare and maintain test plans, test cases, scripts and technical documentation.
• Conduct functional, integration, regression and user acceptance testing as required.
• Identify, document and report defects and coordinate with relevant personnel to resolve issues.
• Monitor system performance and analyse to identify risks and improvement opportunities.
• Assist with installation, configuration, maintenance, upgrades and testing of ICT systems and equipment.
• Triage issues across operating systems, software, databases, networks and hardware.
• Maintain accurate records of incidents, testing activities and resolutions.
• Provide technical guidance and assistance to users and liaise with management and ICT personnel.
