Job summary

Ormiston College in Australia is seeking an ICT Support Coordinator to lead the ICT Support team, coordinate daily operations, prioritise requests and deliver high-quality technical assistance to staff and students. The role focuses on mentoring technicians, ensuring timely resolutions and maintaining service standards.

You will work in a customer-focused environment, communicate clearly with non-technical users, and contribute to cyber security awareness and ICT projects.

Qualifications

• SC1: Demonstrated knowledge/experience with Microsoft 365, Windows, endpoints, networking, and business apps.
• SC2: Ability to diagnose/troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and user issues with proper documentation and IT security practices.
• SC3: Experience coordinating/managing an ICT helpdesk, prioritising workloads, monitoring queues, allocating tasks, ensuring timely resolutions.
• SC4: Strong communication and customer service skills; explain tech to non-technical users; provide professional support to staff, students, stakeholders.
• SC5: Commitment to the aims and ethos of Ormiston College.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily ICT support operations; prioritise service requests; ensure timely resolution of issues.
• Provide guidance, mentoring and day-to-day leadership to ICT Support Technicians.
• Deliver professional, customer-focused technical support to staff and students; ensure positive user experience.
• Support Microsoft 365, user accounts, digital learning platforms and classroom technologies.
• Oversee setup, maintenance and lifecycle management of College devices and ICT assets.
• Promote cyber security awareness; assist with risk management and safe technology practices.
• Contribute to ICT projects, process improvements, and initiatives to enhance service delivery.
