Job summary

Westside Christian College in Goodna, Queensland, seeks an ICT Support Officer to be the friendly face of the IT team and keep staff and students connected with technology.

You will handle service desk requests, fix issues across Windows, macOS, Microsoft 365, Outlook and Teams, and manage devices, printers and classroom AV gear. Join a values-driven workplace and contribute to teaching and learning.

Qualifications

• Cert III or IV in Information Technology or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Real Level 1/2 helpdesk or technical support experience.
• Strong people skills and ability to explain tech simply.
• Solid Windows and Microsoft 365 skills, hardware instincts, networking and AV tech.
• Care for details: accounts, assets, security.

Responsibilities

We're looking for a friendly, capable ICT Support Officer to be the helpful hands and friendly face of our IT team - keeping staff and students connected, supported and confident with technology.

• Be our frontline tech support - supporting staff and students in person and over the service desk.
• Fix day-to-day issues across Windows, macOS, Microsoft 365, Outlook and Teams.
• Set up, deploy and maintain devices, printers and classroom audio-visual technology.
• Support accounts, access and connectivity across the College.
• Keep our systems secure - patching, endpoint security and smart cyber hygiene.
• Build knowledge articles and help train our people so they can do more on their own.
• Work with the IT Manager and team on rollouts and projects that genuinely help teaching and learning.

About You

• Cert III or IV in Information Technology (or equivalent hands-on experience).
