Job summary

Cater Care is seeking an experienced Workplace Relations Advisor for a permanent part-time role in Brisbane (hybrid). You'll partner with leaders across our Australian business to provide practical, commercially focused ER/IR advice, handle investigations and grievances, and help shape policies and practices.

The role offers flexible hours, potential progression to full-time, and the opportunity to influence people practices across the group.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience in a Workplace Relations, Employee Relations or Industrial Relations Advisor role.
• Strong knowledge and practical experience interpreting the Fair Work Act and industrial instruments.
• Experience conducting workplace investigations, including witness interviews, evidence assessment and report writing.
• The ability to develop, review and implement ER/IR policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical, commercially focused advice across a broad range of workplace relations matters.
• Support leaders to navigate grievances, employee concerns and sensitive workplace issues.
• Interpret and provide advice on the Fair Work Act, employment contracts and industrial instruments.
• Plan and conduct workplace investigations, including developing evidence plans, interviewing witnesses and preparing findings reports.
• Review and improve ER/IR policies, procedures and practices.
• Contribute to broader Workplace Relations initiatives that strengthen people practices.
