Job summary

RUSH in Brisbane seeks an IR Advisor (Employee Relations) to manage live workplace disputes for members, including unfair dismissal, general protections, disciplinary matters, pay and classification disputes and bullying claims. You will run complex matters and help raise the standard of the team in a growing practice.

You will handle your own caseload from initial contact to resolution, applying the Fair Work Act and awards to real situations while collaborating with in-house employment

Qualifications

• 3+ years in employee relations, IR or ER-focused HR (consultancy, employer association or in-house welcome)
• Solid working knowledge of the Fair Work Act and awards
• Some exposure to Fair Work Commission matters, whether running them or supporting them
• Clear writing, sound judgement and the confidence to put a position to an employer
• Real matters, real outcomes. You\'ll run your own caseload for members who need help now, not sit behind a policy desk
• A close, collaborative team, with lawyers on hand

Are you an experienced industrial relations, employee relations or HR practitioner who wants to run real matters rather than manage process? At RUSH, our Industrial Advocates run live workplace disputes for members every day: unfair dismissal, general protections, disciplinary and misconduct matters, pay and classification disputes, and workplace bullying claims.

We're looking for a ER Advisor to join the team in Brisbane, take on our more complex matters and help lift the standard of the team around you.
