Job summary

Nine is hiring a Chris21/Workday Functional Analyst for a 12-month contract, based in Sydney. You will resolve integration touchpoints between Workday, Chris21 and third-party platforms, reporting to the Lead Payroll Systems Analyst and collaborating with cross-functional teams to triage errors and optimise configurations.

Qualifications

• Hands-on functional configuration experience within Workday and core HCM modules.
• Functional user experience with Chris21 and end-to-end payroll knowledge.
• Experience with testing lifecycle, UAT, and defect resolution.
• Proficiency in Workday EIBs, data conversion, and security frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Triage and resolve integration errors between Workday, Chris21, and third-party systems.
• Analyse integration logs and payload files to restore automated data flows.
• Manage Tier 2 and Tier 3 ServiceNow support tickets efficiently.
• Perform regular master data audits across platforms to ensure complete data synchronisation.
• Translate business requirements into functional specs, custom reports, and configuration updates.
• Execute configuration tweaks across Workday and Chris21 interface files.
• Support system testing, upgrades, and bi-annual Workday platform releases and Chris21 upgrades as required by the vendor.
