Job summary

Arcare is seeking an experienced Payroll Systems Administrator to be the subject matter expert for our payroll and workforce management systems. You will oversee Chris21 and Humanforce environments, ensuring compliant, accurate payroll outcomes across a multi-site organization.

The role focuses on governance, system optimisation, testing and ERP changes, with close collaboration to Payroll, HR, Finance and IT teams. Hybrid work is available.

Qualifications

• Experience administering Chris21 (iChris) or similar enterprise payroll systems.
• Strong understanding of payroll legislation, awards and compliance.
• Experience implementing and testing payroll system changes.
• Experience with workforce management systems such as Humanforce.
• Analytical, problem solving and reconciliation skills.
• Payroll reporting and SQL-based analysis.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Governance, risk management and audit controls.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Chris21 and associated payroll applications.
• Configure payroll rules, allowances, deductions, and leave accruals.
• Lead payroll system testing for EBA changes, wage increases and updates.
• Partner with the Humanforce Administrator to align systems.
• Develop test scenarios, reconciliations and user acceptance testing.
• Drive system optimisation and automation initiatives.
• Support payroll governance and audit requirements.
• Develop payroll reporting and data analysis solutions.
• Manage vendor relationships and coordinate upgrades.
• Escalate complex payroll system issues and configurations.
