Job summary

Adecco Group is recruiting a Technical Sales Engineer for its global technology client in Melbourne. The role blends business development, technical consultation, pre-sales engagement and customer support, operating in a hybrid working arrangement in Northern Melbourne.

You will help customers identify solutions, provide technical expertise and build long-term business relationships, with strong training and development opportunities within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Experience in Technical Sales, Sales Engineering, Business Development, Customer Success or similar customer-facing role.
• Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel interstate or internationally when required.

Responsibilities

• Identify new business opportunities and contribute to market growth.
• Expand relationships with existing customers and develop new accounts.
• Support sales strategy execution and commercial activities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
• Understand customer challenges and translate requirements into practical solutions.
• Act as a trusted advisor throughout the sales process.
• Deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and solution guidance.
• Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Prepare quotations, proposals, and tender submissions.
• Support deployment, implementation, training, and troubleshooting activities.
• Serve as a key technical contact for customers.
• Gather customer feedback to support continuous product and service improvement.
