Job summary

carsales is seeking a Software Engineer to help build high-availability, low-latency software within the ACIL Tribe. You will contribute to modern agile practices, ship scalable systems, and collaborate across teams to deliver impact.

The role demands strong .NET backend experience, frontend skills in Angular or React, and hands-on AWS knowledge. A focus on clean code, CI/CD, and observability will be valued.

Qualifications

• Experience with backend development in .NET ecosystems.
• Strong frontend development experience with Angular or React.
• Proven track record building event-driven and distributed systems.
• Strong knowledge of AWS cloud platform.
• Applied knowledge of DDD, TDD, and modern engineering practices.
• Performance tuning at application and database levels.
• Commitment to clean code and scalable design.
• Knowledge of AI tooling to enhance productivity and design.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, containers and infrastructure as code.
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability tools.

Responsibilities

• Work within the ACIL tribe to plan, build and support software that scales.
• Participate in breaking down work, code reviews, testing and builds.
• Collaborate with team, ACIL Group, and carsales family.
• Share knowledge, give and receive constructive feedback to improve team culture.
