carsales is seeking a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to join our Cyber Security team, designing, implementing, and maturing security across complex cloud environments. You will embed automation into build, deploy and run processes to support scalable security across the platform.

This hybrid role offers autonomy, influence on the engineering roadmap, and collaboration with platform and security teams. Ideal for builders blending software development with security in AWS and CI/CD.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in software/platform engineering and security engineering.
• Experience implementing end-to-end orchestration and secure patterns in AWS.
• Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD gates across the build, release and run phases. Exposure to secure dependency management practices.

Responsibilities

• Embed security automation into infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines in AWS.
• Standardize security practice through Infrastructure-as-code and services orchestration.
• Secure CI/CD pipelines and deployment practices.
• Automate vulnerability management and secure dependencies.
• Build observability and monitoring capabilities on agentic systems with OTEL.
• Contribute to incident response efforts.
