Job summary

Specialist Medical Association seeks a Training Manager to deliver a nationwide medical training program across AU and NZ. You will coordinate trainee assessment, progression and accreditation, while partnering with clinicians, hospitals and committees to ensure high-quality training outcomes.

This hybrid role spans program management, governance and continuous improvement, with a clear path toward the Senior Training Manager. Hybrid inner-eastern Sydney office with flexibility to work from home.

Qualifications

• Coordinating and/or managing training programs within medical education environments.
• Excellent organisational skills managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement across levels.
• Written reports, committee papers, minutes and correspondence.
• Experience supporting governance committees and delegated admin tasks.
• Comfort with LMS, CRM and MS Office for records and reporting.
• Proactive, solutions-focused with sound judgement.
• Flexibility for occasional after-hours meetings.

Responsibilities

• Training Program Coordination: manage trainee assessment, progression and reporting.
• Committee & Governance Support: coordinate meetings and stakeholder communications.
• Stakeholder Engagement & Program Support: build relationships with trainees, clinicians and hospitals.
• Continuous Improvement: contribute to ongoing process and regulatory improvements.
