Job summary

Get Staffed Online Recruitment Limited is seeking a Technology Systems and Support Engineer for South & East campuses. The role provides onsite and remote tech support to students and staff, with a focus on Microsoft 365, AV/collaboration systems and ongoing service improvements.

You will help maintain classrooms and teaching spaces, deploy devices, and contribute to technology initiatives across campuses in Brighton, London or Essex. A proactive, customer-centered approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in technology support, desktop support or systems support in a busy environment.
• Strong troubleshooting across hardware, software, OS and end-user tech.
• Proven customer-focused support delivery in a fast-paced setting.
• Solid understanding of Microsoft 365 and modern workplace tech.
• Experience supporting classrooms, meeting rooms, AV or collaboration tech.
• Knowledge of service desk, incident management and support processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for diverse users.
• Good organisation and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Proactive and collaborative approach to problem-solving and improvement.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and contribute to a positive service.

Responsibilities

• Provide responsive onsite and remote technology support to colleagues and students.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, OS and connectivity issues.
• Manage incidents and service requests through the IT service management platform.
• Configure, deploy and maintain laptops, desktops and mobile devices.
• Ensure classrooms, spaces and collaboration technologies are operational.
• Support software deployment, device provisioning, updates and endpoint security.
• Collaborate with Senior Engineers to resolve complex issues.
• Maintain documentation, knowledge articles and asset records.
• Identify opportunities to improve support processes and user experience.
• Support technology projects and campus developments.
