Job summary

Wellways invites applications for a short-term Christmas Contract in the People & Culture team in Melbourne. This 8-week contract offers hybrid work with 2–3 days from home and a salary of $100,000 per annum plus super, pro rata for the contract duration.

You will deliver practical HR support, ensure compliance, and assist with audits and documentation while coordinating across the People & Culture team and with the National Manager P&C Services.

Qualifications

• Experience in human resources, HR advisory or compliance administration.
• Knowledge of employment legislation, industrial awards and conditions of employment, ideally SCHADS Award.
• Strong administrative skills and attention to detail, especially in records and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Respond to general HR enquiries from employees and leaders; manage leave and employment conditions.
• Provide initial guidance on employee relations and performance management; escalate complex issues.
• Monitor the P&C inbox; triage and respond promptly to enquiries.
