Dimensional Fund Advisors in Sydney is seeking a Compliance and Risk Manager to strengthen the organization’s compliance capability during a period of transition. The role supports regulatory obligations, process improvements, and automation initiatives, reporting to the Head of Compliance.

The position is a 12-month fixed-term contract with hybrid work, offering opportunities to influence governance and operations while managing regulatory risk across the business.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years in financial services compliance or risk roles.
• Experience with Corporations Act and ASIC Regulatory Guides.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication with senior management and external stakeholders.
• Mentorship and initiative to lead junior team members.

Responsibilities

• Review and sign-off of all promotional material.
• Coordinate regulatory lodgements, reporting and statutory obligations.
• Identify automation opportunities and improve processes.
• Design and implement workflow improvements to reduce manual work.
• Assist in implementing technology solutions and compliance tracking.
• Maintain compliance monitoring programs and internal controls.
• Review business initiatives from a compliance perspective.
• Identify and analyse compliance obligations affecting operations.
• Oversee front office mandate monitoring using CRIMS.
• Assist with product-related requests.
• Monitor regulatory reforms and implement policy changes.
