Job summary

ASX is seeking a Line 1 Risk and Compliance professional to support the maturement of risk and compliance practices within its Risk Division. You will provide risk and compliance advice across large projects, coordinate assessments, and help embed frameworks with strong stakeholder collaboration.

Qualifications

• Experience in Line 1 or Line 2 risk within Financial Services.
• Experience with risk/compliance assessments, control testing and incident management.
• Ability to provide risk advice on large, complex projects.
• Ability to grasp concepts quickly and challenge the status quo.
• Strong ability to build internal relationships and collaborate across teams.
• Ability to plan, prioritise and deliver to deadlines.
• Excellent oral, written and presentation communication.

Responsibilities

• Support the Senior Line 1 Risk and Compliance Partner to mature risk and compliance capabilities within ASX’s Risk Division.
• Advise Risk business units on risk, compliance and control initiatives and improvements.
• Lead and coordinate risk and compliance assessments and develop action plans to improve controls.
• Contribute to Board and regulatory reporting and prepare information packs for risk groups.
• Work with Risk and ASX stakeholders to embed risk frameworks.
• Coordinate and prepare monthly risk forum packs.
