Job summary

Nutanix is hiring a Technical Support Engineer in Sydney to troubleshoot and resolve customer issues across virtualization, networking, and storage. You will work with VMware, Citrix, and Microsoft, develop tools, and contribute to knowledge bases.

The role is hybrid with on-site collaboration and occasional after-hours support. You will join a diverse team reporting to Worldwide Support Manager, focusing on faster resolutions, high-quality service, and customer-first outcomes to enable success

Qualifications

Proven work experience troubleshooting in two of: Virtualization (VMware ESXi preferred), Networking (L2/L3), Linux systems (CLI admin), Storage Analysis.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, debug, and diagnose customer issues encountered in the field.
Improve serviceability by testing features and developing tools to scale deployment and auto-support infrastructure.
Provide analysis of the customer base to avoid and minimize risks in the field.
Define and lead changes to the product with the development team based on customer feedback.
Collaborate with technology partners (e.g. VMware, Citrix, Microsoft) to resolve issues and push improvements.
Develop and maintain internal and external knowledge bases.
Provide support on weekdays and rotating after-hours as scheduled.
Champions for customers to maximize their use of the Nutanix stack.
