Job summary

The NSW Rural Fire Service invites applications for an Application Support role at Sydney Olympic Park. This hands-on position maintains, troubleshoots and enhances enterprise applications across the organisation.

The role offers a 35-hour week, a temporary appointment with potential extension, and a salary of AU$118,562–AU$131,233 per annum plus 12% super. Flexible or hybrid working arrangements are considered to support delivery.

Responsibilities

• Provide application support, troubleshooting and maintenance for enterprise applications and systems.
• Investigate and resolve incidents, defects and production issues including root‑cause analysis and problem resolution.
• Monitor application performance, availability and reliability ensuring issues are resolved within agreed SLAs.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure and business teams to deliver application improvements ensuring compliance with NSW Government ICT standards and best practices.
